Lakka is a beautiful little town, still authentically Greek with very good restaurants and if you don’t mind some hiking and climbing there are some beautiful beaches/snorkeling spots that are walkable. You can even hike to a nearby beach, swim/snorkel south to the next town (Loggos) and bus or taxi home. If you arrive early before the apartment is ready, you can leave your bags at the local hotel (Ilios) for €5. We learned about this from others in town. It would have been nice if Paxos Retreats had made this known to us prior to our arrival. Make sure to rent a boat and explore all of Paxos and Antipaxos - absolutely wonderful. The apartment is fine - as described. Everything you need is there and all the basics are available in the little stores in town. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
We had a great few days stay here in Lakka. Paxos retreats are really helpful and responsive, they let us know issues with ferry transfer and arranged our taxi to and from the port which was so helpful. The place is beautiful, the outside area is perfect and has lovely views of the harbour. The place was clean and the apartment was spacious, and they left us food and a bottle of wine as a welcome. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay with PaxosRetreats. The apartment was incredible, comfortable, clean and spacious with a nice view of the Lakka town and waters. Many fantastic restaurants and beaches nearby. The host was very responsive and accomodating. We would highly recommend staying here. There is a slightly steep walk up to the apartment but well worth it for the views and privacy.
Great location in the center of Lakka. Beautiful view, comfortable lodging. Only wish there were more towels provided and a little more flexibility on check in/out but overall a wonderful stay! Would recommend- great value.
