This tiny fishing hamlet lies on Paxos’ east coast. The activity in this little village centers around its harbor where you can find people, tradesmen, fishermen and yachts making the scene very colorful at any time of the day. This is probably why you will find many tourists simply spending the day at one of the open air cafes dotting this area. Of course, the sumptuous food they serve here at affordable prices may be another good reason too. If you want to taste authentic Greek food, this is the place to hang out, especially if you are a lover of seafood because fresh produce makes the fare really delicious at these cafes. Slake your thirst at one of the many taverns that keep this place lively and add a buzz to the activities here.
Loggos is on the bus route that services the main parts of Paxos and you can get to practically anywhere on the island from here. This is a great advantage for those who have accommodation here is Loggos. If you want to make an early start and do not want to depend on the bus service, there are plenty of taxis to take you around too.
Loggos is one of the most beautiful locations on Paxos and to make the best of your stay here, you should explore it on foot. The pastel hued homes make the streets look like they come out of a picture postcard while swimming, fishing activities give you a taste of the waterside. Loggos is home to the Paxos International Music Festival so if you are heading down here when the event is on, you may want to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
